Lanvin's Inflatable Summer Dream (Paris, France)

As I'm currently in complete denial that summer is finally over (I was still wearing sandals last week), these Lanvin windows, which I took just over a month ago, are a perfect reminder of warmer and sunnier times. TV screens featuring the beach and ocean provided the perfect backdrop. Though Alber Elbaz is no stranger to whimsy and fun, these displays were even more entertaining, thanks to the use of inflatable props. Who knew that plastic and chic could be combined in such a charming way?

  23. This is quite cheek in the tongue-ish! It is fun to see how different stores cook up their own kind of soup. Paris is 'the place' to savor these delights!

  24. I'm not sure I like these so much to be honest...feels a bit cheap. The inflatable trees are what bother me, the rest of it is quite nice.

  39. i think it's such a luxurious to be able to create a conceptual environment for such a brand with heritages that could easily suffocates a designer's imaginations. did you look through the H&M promo for Lanvin and H&M? i think i am in love with Alber elbaz's english speech ...
