I saw an item on your blog and want to order it. Can you help me out?

Your best bet is to go directly to the company's official homepage, which is linked at the bottom of each post, to search for stockists or contact details (such as a corporate email or PR spokesperson). Where possible, I will include an official web store or online retailer that stocks the brand. If a product isn't available online, either do a Google search or try asking around in one of the many fashion forums. Unfortunately I can't source any products featured on my blog.

Is the brand / store you posted about also available in my country?

Again, please consult the official homepage of the respective label, which can be found at the bottom of each post. Stockists are usually listed there. Alternatively, this website is a great resource for finding specific designers or brands in various countries. I generally post about the biggest, most important or most impressive boutique of a respective brand/designer, but many companies have several stores within a country or throughout the world.

I'm a designer / supplier and would like to sell my wares. How can I contact one of the stores on your site? Or can you recommend a retailer that would be a perfect fit for my collections?

Please check the official homepage of the brand / retailer first. I don't own nor do I have ties to the stores I feature. I would recommend contacting an expert or going to trade fairs when it comes to finding an ideal retail partner.

I have a blog / website. Do you do link exchanges?

If you have a personal blog that is in some way related to mine (i.e. fashion, shopping, travel, home interiors etc.), I will consider a link exchange, especially if you are a regular commenter. If your website is corporate and you are wishing to place a text link to your site, please read my advertising policy instead. 


I posted a comment, but it seems to have disappeared from the page?

I love receiving comments but if your comment has disappeared, it's most likely been marked as spam. I reserve the right to delete any comments that solely promote a business, website or provide no further info than a blog address and a short message along the lines of "visit my blog!". The same applies to comments that promote giveaways but don't provide any further details relevant to the original post. Furthermore, slanderous, destructive or otherwise negative comments meant to harm a person or business are not tolerated and will be removed.

I have a store or brand I'd like you to feature.  Would you be willing to post about it?

I'd be happy to receive pitches from companies, designers or shop owners who have a brick & mortar store, show room or plan on organizing a press day, show or event. I'm currently based in London and frequently visit other European destinations but take at least one long-haul trip a year. Regardless of where you are based, please don't hesitate to contact me, as I'll keep note of your location should I visit your country. I generally prefer posting about boutiques or brands that are local to the city or country they're in, but I'm open to any brands or retail spaces that are unique and special. I reserve the right to state my own opinion (whether negative or positive). Please read my advertising policy for more on store and product reviews.

Do you accept guest posts? Likewise, would you write a guest post for my blog / website?

I'm happy to receive any contributions to this site if you feel you have a great store or brand in your area that you'd love to see featured. Likewise I enjoy helping out others by writing short features or answering questionnaires. Who owns the photography on your site?

Over 90% of the photos you see on this site were taken by me and as such, I am the copyright holder of these images. They are easily detected, as they all feature a watermark. Pictures that are part of a collage and aren't mine, are usually credited to their source. In most cases these are runway shots, campaign images, catalog product photos and professional pictures of a store layout. In a few rare instances, photo credits may be missing if the homepage I sourced the image from doesn't mention the original copyright holder. Should you find a photo on this site that belongs to you but doesn't credit you as a source, please let me know, so I can amend that. None of the original photography taken by me or the collages I created may be used on another website or publication without my prior consent.

I'm traveling to Paris / London / Rome etc. soon. Can you give me recommendations on where to shop / stay / eat / drink / sightsee etc?

While I have answered such questions in the past, I unfortunately no longer give recommendations, as this has proven to be very time-consuming and there are plenty of great city guides out there. If the question is very specific and can't easily be answered elsewhere (i.e. "where can I find the best cupcakes in Paris?" or "what's the best department store in London for upcoming British designers"), then I might be more open to giving suggestions. But I can't guarantee I'll be able to answer every question, so apologies in advance if I don't get back to you. Where possible, please consult the Useful Resources page first, as I use these links frequently when searching for hotels, stores or restaurants in different parts of the world.
