Useful Resources

Below I've listed a selection of websites, blogs and forums I've found useful when searching for specific designers, stores or any other info regarding shopping, traveling and lifestyle. I get a lot of emails from readers requesting info on where to find certain brands or seeking travel advice and I would kindly ask anyone to carefully read this page (in addition to the FAQ) first to see if the provided websites can help, before contacting me. This list is work in progress and will expand with time.

Should you have any favorite or helpful resources that you'd like to see added to this list, please feel free to email me.

Worldwide brand, designer and boutique directories:

For stockists around the world, I'd always suggest visiting a company's own homepage first. Otherwise, the below two websites are handy if you are searching for a particular brand or store in a specific area.

City Guides focusing on shopping, food, lifestyle, hotels & more:

These guides are my favorites for featuring more unique destinations in various cities around the world, such as concept stores, gourmet markets, boutique hotels and the hottest restaurants. Current events are also listed.

General Travel Guides:

Here you'll find the online editions of more popular sightseeing-focused travel guides. I'd also recommend picking up a hard copy version if you plan on visiting a city/country for more than a few days.

What's On - latest news & hotspots:

For up-to-date info on concerts, exhibitions, sample sales, events, new store/restaurant openings and more in your city. Also features store, hotel, clubs and restaurant reviews and general travel advice.

Various cities:
Prinz Online (in German)

Fashion Forums:

The Purse Forum: Aside from the obvious topic (handbags), sub-forums include clothing, shoes, travel and various other issues. Also useful if you need to have a designer item authenticated or seek advice on where to find a seasonal piece.
