Lilla Moda (Warsaw, Poland)

I have to admit - the main reason I found this boutique is because I'm a big wimp who can't handle the cold and therefore just needed to warm up in an enclosed space for 5 minutes. This shop is surprisingly large and has quite a sizable collection of designer fashion (Moschino, Alberta Feretti, Just Cavalli etc.). Again this shop was relatively empty except for another customer, so the 5 sales assistants unfortunately didn't have much to do. I'm pretty sure this store is usually quite a bit busier, but due to the economic crisis and the weakened Polish currency almost everything was 70% off. The regular-priced items were cheaper compared to Euro-land as well, but again this is mainly because of the currency situation.

In any case, if you're in the neighborhood, this is a great place to get a good bargain at the moment. I left the store with a McQ by Alexander McQueen coat, that cost me 120,- EUR (70% off). No way I would have found this for the price anywhere in Central Europe. The staff were very helpful in trying to find clothes in the right size and color. The boutique itself, kept in simple blacks and grays, is very pleasant to browse. Clothing is sorted by category instead of designer, which gives you a great overview of what to look for.
