Spring has finally sprung - at least here in London. Temperatures are rising, the days are getting longer and the sun is making more frequent appearances. But of course Spring would be nothing without the beauty of blossoming flowers. And because the eight cherry trees in front of my living room window are a constant reminder of how wonderful this time of the year can be, I've been inspired to hunt down more floral delights in the shape of both the real thing and the fashion world's recurring love affair with the flower print.
Are you embracing floral patterns this season? Or would you prefer to just admire the botanical version instead? I know that there are a few pieces below I wouldn't mind owning...

ReplyDeleteLondon is so beautiful and all the renditions of flowers and lavender .. very unlike here at the beach.
Your photos are purely lust inducing and maybe it's not even a sin here.

Love this time of the year and especially magnolias and cherry blossoms! We have a little baby cherry in our garden, just a few years old, completely covered in soft pink flowers. Amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou know I never actually thought about it before I read your post today, but yes, I think I would love to have a floral something in my wardrobe. Ideally, a full knee length skirt with delicate flowers, pinks, soft (custard) yellow or a mix of everything as long as it's pastels. :)

ReplyDeleteflorals are so this season...my must have for this season is a bright floral dress among other things!!!
Not really a fan of floral prints for myself, I much prefer the real thing. But even then, I have a reputation of being a plant killer :o/ I do think that folks that look pretty in feminine clothes are lovely in florals. Just not for me :)
ReplyDeleteSwoon at the Mulberry Window Display - it is absolutely heavenly!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautyful photos and how loveling with spring, we still have snow here...=(
ReplyDeleteLoving the floral but my print of choice at the moment are polkadots. Also loving the pretty weather, it's about time!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous are those cherry blossom trees! I will take florals in the form of: flowers or flower prints in fashion, but I like to stay away from them in terms of interiors!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the photos.

Absoluement, my fave time of year! Banished to the winter wardrobe are my Ralph Lauren tweeds and out come my L.A.M.B. and RL Luncheon-with-Poirot tea dresses, parasols (I might be the only San Diego girl who loathes the sun!) and Scarlett O'Hara green, silk mules. Quelle belle printemps! (Plus, it was 90 degrees here yesterday; ergo, it is definitely time for the wardrobe switch!)
ReplyDeleteSalut and Cheers!
I know that florals are so predictable think about the line in devil wears prada... but every spring summer I fall for it over, and over again, I just try to look for varying patterns, and so on, why not stick to what you love?
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful, cheery and springy post! just lovely!
ReplyDeletei have some patterns to wear, but not too many. maybe i should get more!

ReplyDeleteUgh, all these florals, all the sunshine you're getting over there in London...it's making me so jealous! We have snow in the forecast over here. If there was a time I ever really yearned for Spring, it's now.

All these flowers and THIS Monet - absolutely beautiful. Still, floral clothes terrify me. Maybe this spring I'll be brave enough...
ReplyDeleteWow, it must be nice to be in London right now! To see all these beautiful flowers out of your window and in the streets! I love the way you mix the pictures of print dresses with the flowers! Brilliant! xoxoxoo
ReplyDeleteso beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI’m definitely wearing floral this season. The Mulberry display most have taken a lot of time in the making (the flowers I mean) it reminds me of a page you would see in a manga, maybe the manikins are having a romantic conversation?
