Browns Shoe Store (London, UK)

Browns is a big favorite among fashion lovers in London, famed for their good service and selection of designer goods. So I'm sure it was with great joy that women all over town rejoiced when Browns decided to open their own standalone shoe store a few streets away from their flagship boutique. I believe the official opening party will take place during London Fashion Week, but it's been up and running since late January, so of course I couldn't resist a little peek.

A careful selection of designer shoes, from Nicholas Kirkwood to Rupert Sanderson can be found here in a beautiful setting. Shoes are perched on various small tables, sideboards and of course the awe-inspiring illuminated shelf against the wall (filled mostly with Louboutins & Givenchy), which can already be seen from across the road. I was almost too scared to touch anything, because everything was arranged so perfectly - but I did of course (didn't try anything on though). The men's department- with shoes by Comme Des Garçons and Lanvin to name a few - along with a chill-out area can be found on the lower level.

Of course this wouldn't be Browns if they didn't provide any extra services. The store also offers bespoke shoes, repairs and special customer events. Go now, before everyone else does! If you don't have the time - there's always the official Browns online shop.
