Louis Vuitton's Balloons & Dunes (London, UK)


I first noticed these Louis Vuitton windows during the recent FNO in London and as always - despite my ambivalent feelings towards the brand - instantly fell in love with the assortment of hot air balloons on display. Combined with the sand dunes and classic monogram trunks, the very enviable mannequins seem to be embarking on an exotic journey. If only I could travel like this...

    Our local LV has a similar display using the hot air ballons :) I found it quite charming when I saw it too! Great concept!

    What a wonderful Louis-Vuitton window display and you have to love the magic of a hot air balloon.
    Last week, I took a photo of our LV window in Auckland and it was also displaying a few hot air balloons. I was going to do a post soon.

    I also have mixed feeling towards Louis Vuitton, but their campaigns and window dipslays always win me over. These ones are no exception. Amazing!:)

    PS. I think Instagram would be a pretty, free-spirited hipster girl who loves to take photos of beautiful and dreamy vintage things with her polaroid camera. And she likes to take a lot of photos of her feet for some reason. Haha!

    this window display is absolutely gorgeous. it's definitely among the best and the most creatives window displays I have seen in a long time. I especially like it because it's very simple, but effective. definitely a stop and stare!!!

    What a cheerful display! Love the balloons. I had hoped to shop a bit in Vienna, but hardly had any time. I am planning to go back to Vienna next year. can you imagine, i did not get to eat the Sacher cake! But I did get some Melange and Apple Strudel.

    Gorgeous photos and I absolutely adore idea of everything flying; Montgolfiers, umbrellas or people. If i had my own shop, window would be probably something like this. But bothers me how they attached balloons cause there's nothing visible.

    It looks magical!It is becoming more difficult for them to outstage themsleves in window dressing which, I believe, now became a form of entretainment of the customers. I wonder every time what would be the theme of new windows at Chanel, Lanvin, LV and here in New York - Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman...
