I first noticed these Louis Vuitton windows during the recent FNO in London and as always - despite my ambivalent feelings towards the brand - instantly fell in love with the assortment of hot air balloons on display. Combined with the sand dunes and classic monogram trunks, the very enviable mannequins seem to be embarking on an exotic journey. If only I could travel like this...

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Louis-Vuitton window display and you have to love the magic of a hot air balloon.
ReplyDeleteLast week, I took a photo of our LV window in Auckland and it was also displaying a few hot air balloons. I was going to do a post soon.

ReplyDeleteaw that's so happy and cute. very uplifting
ReplyDeleteHoly gorgeousness! I love the colors! What a magnificent display. :)
ReplyDeletePS. I think Instagram would be a pretty, free-spirited hipster girl who loves to take photos of beautiful and dreamy vintage things with her polaroid camera. And she likes to take a lot of photos of her feet for some reason. Haha!
What a fantastic window! I feel windows should always be both aspirational & inspirational--- and this one seems to accomplish the goal!
ReplyDeleteOmg, amazing window!!! they really toped it up this time!!! love it!!!!

my aunts mother has a louis vuitton vintage truck that she know uses as decoration in her living room. i want to steal it. lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a cheerful display! Love the balloons. I had hoped to shop a bit in Vienna, but hardly had any time. I am planning to go back to Vienna next year. can you imagine, i did not get to eat the Sacher cake! But I did get some Melange and Apple Strudel.
ReplyDeleteOh, cool decoration!!!:)
ReplyDeletebrilliant concept there. i really like the way it looks.

oh stupid lv. lololol. but i give them a YUGE thumbs up for this display. just fab! it takes me away! ok, that was cheesy, but the display is fun, whimsical and beautiful, as all of the good displays seem to be. :)
ReplyDeleteA truly imaginative stylist created these windows for sure, reminding me that hot-air balloons are the only mode of travel taking you to unplanned destinations.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos and I absolutely adore idea of everything flying; Montgolfiers, umbrellas or people. If i had my own shop, window would be probably something like this. But bothers me how they attached balloons cause there's nothing visible.
ReplyDeleteThe ballons are simply wonderful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! Love this.
ReplyDeletexoxo,

i think this is one of the cutest and most creative window displays i've ever seen. love it!
ReplyDeleteAnother interesting concept, I like it!
ReplyDeleteIt looks magical! It is becoming more difficult for them to outstage themsleves in window dressing which, I believe, now became a form of entretainment of the customers. I wonder every time what would be the theme of new windows at Chanel, Lanvin, LV and here in New York - Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman...
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your wonderful comment under my rejection post. I am so very happy to see you visiting.:-))) I missed you!
